Samsung continues to be the only important manufacturer that covers this niche, that of rugged devices. If at the end of June the rugged smartphone Samsung Galaxy XCover6 Pro was launched , now the South Korean company is preparing to announce a tablet in the same category – Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro.
The device received a series of certifications (including Bluetooth SIG) and appeared in the Google Play Console, all these signs indirectly confirming that the launch is not far off.
What specifications do we know so far for the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro?
- display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and aspect ratio 16:10;
- octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G made on 6nm and Adreno 642L GPU;
- minimum 4 GB RAM and minimum 64 GB storage space;
- 4G LTE and 5G support (there will probably be Wi-Fi only and 4G LTE + 5G versions);
- bluetooth 5.2.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro will run Android 12L from the factory (software version optimized for larger screens), and if I were to complete the above list with almost certain information, I would say that the device will come with IP68 certification certifies resistance to water and dust and MIL-STD-810G military certification that certifies resistance to humidity, rain, vibrations, solar radiation, thermal shocks, shocks, falls, etc.
It remains to be seen when this tablet will be presented, most likely in the fall.
